How AVS Cleans perform wood floor sanding Whitley Bay

• First of all from the initial contact to the final invoice you will deal with me Paul Athey
• We offer a free estimate at your home to assess the floor see what type of wood it is and to see what you want is there any repairs to be done?  cracks to be filled ? does the floor need staining? and what type of finish you require whether it be a lacquer, oiled or wax finish?
• A quote is emailed over no pressure tactics or discounted prices if you sign up there and then.
• Agree on a  date and at that stage, a 30% deposit is paid.
• Contact customer the night before to confirm everything is ready
• Turn up on time or contact customer if we are going to be late
• Punch any nails in or repair any bits to the floor.
• Working through the grits we remove any existing marks or stain/lacquer
• Using an edging sander we do the edges and any corners again working the grits we finish at around 100 grit  or lower if we are to fill any gaps
• Finish sanding up to 100 grit
• At this stage, we add the stain which customer has chosen
• Now time to add a finish again this is down to customer preference we advise if there are any circumstances I.E heavy traffic like in a shop business or pub you may have kids or dogs
• Leave you the customer with some products and the knowledge of how to keep the floor looking great.
• Time to settle remaining payment we take card cash or bank transfer upon completion of work unless it is agreed otherwise
