I started my working career as an apprentice joiner many years ago. I have always had a passion for wood, keeping my hand in whenever possible for friends and family. I sanded my first floor over 25 years ago, but the machines were not like they are today and left a dust everywhere so when I saw the almost dust free machines available now at a trade show a couple of years ago I knew it was the direction I wanted to take the business in. I attended a training course, bought the best machinery I could afford and now offer this service.

- Attend the property to inspect the floor
- Discuss your requirements (types of finish, colour of stain, holes filled, gaps to be corked, see if there are nails to be punched etc)
- Agree a date for work to be carried out.
- Using the latest machinery sand the floor and use an edge sander to get right to the skirtings.
Working through the grits to remove all of the previous finishes and prepare the floor. Using festool
sanders do any stairs or get right in the corners - At this stage we fill holes or cork the floor (if needed)
- Then stain floor (there are some amazing colour options)
- Add the finish to the floor
