How AVS Cleans & Restores carry out floor sanding in Newcastle

• It usually starts with a phone call where we ask some questions and arrange an on-site visit
• I inspect floor to find out what type of wood it is and what you as the customer is looking to achieve whether it be filled stained lacquered or oiled.
• Each customer receives an emailed quote which is personalized to you.
• Once the quote is accepted and dates chosen then a 35% deposit is payable.
• I will email you 2 days before work is to be carried out as a gentle reminder
• Arrive at the time agreed whether we are working days nights or weekends to suit your business needs.

• Using an edging machine we get right up to the skirting boards
• back on the belt sander, we work through the grits to about 80grit.

• finish the edging with finer grit sandpaper
• using a finishing sander we use a mesh disc 120 grit
• Stain the floor if applicable
• Apply the finish whether it is an oil finish or a lacquer.
