After assessing the Marble floor with the owner of the property we came up with an action plan of how to restore the marble floor. The plan was approved by the Vera film crew and a date set.

Firstly I clean the whole floor then thoroughly rinse the floor ready for cracks and chips to be repaired. then using a resin filler with an added hardener the color was mixed the floor was then taped up prepped ready to be filled.

Once flor has been cleaned and repairs have been done its time to start and remove the scratches/stains on the floor. Then recreate the sheen levels that were set in the factory.

As you can see from the image before the floor has become damaged and lost its shine.

To recreate the shine to the floor there is a system;

Firstly the floor is honed back with a low grit diamond polishing pad or a honing powder to remove any scratches/staining.

The pads are like sandpaper and the lower grit removes damage.  Therefore as we work through the grits it smoothes the scratch pattern out recreating the shine

Secondly, diamond pads are used to remove scratches Thirdly a polishing powder is used to pop the floor. Lastly, I use a burnishing machine, as a result, the floor is at the maximum shine
