Pine floor sanded in Whitley Bay

We were contacted for a floor sanded in Whitley Bay on a pine floor that had never been sanded before. The gripper rods were still in place so first of all was to remove them. Then punch all nails in. Working from a 40 grit paper on the belt sander.

Removing 120 years worth of dirt on the boards but overall in very good condition only needing minor repairs to wear plumbing had been updated. I sanded back using state of the art machinery from Bona Festool Pallman the floors and applied some colour samples applied.

Colour chosen is  Woca diamond oil Carbon Black.

Sample colours removed and all gaps filled ready for the next phase of pine Floor sanded

A 120 grit mesh  sanding disc was used to close up the grain then water pop the floor before applying the Carbon Black oil
